Images are gassed into the tumbler via sublimation. It is coated with a glow in the dark substrate causing the tumbler to have a matte texture. Tumbler needs light/sunlight to charge the reactors to glow in the dark. For longevity of tumbler hand wash and do not leave in hot cars, do not soak, or dish-wash. They are built to last but to preserve the best color hand wash only.
